About the Role
Role Description
We are seeking a caring, motivated Mental Health Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a part-time to full-time, on-site role based at our Uniontown, OH clinic.
The Mental Health Counselor will provide high-quality therapy services to individuals, families, and small groups. In this role, you will:
*Conduct mental health assessments and create individualized treatment plans
*Provide ongoing counseling sessions in a safe, supportive, and client-centered environment
*Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with insurance, ethical, and organizational standards
*Collaborate closely with our OT, PT, Speech, and Feeding Therapy teams to support holistic care
*Educate and support families in understanding therapeutic goals and strategies
*Participate in team meetings, case coordination, and occasional community outreach
*Utilize telehealth platforms as needed to enhance accessibility for clients

Job Summary
Qualifications
Required:
Strong counseling and therapeutic skills with experience in individual and family therapy
Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
Detail-oriented with strong organization and documentation accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, family-centered practice
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
Licensed or license-eligible in Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, etc.)
Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality
Preferred:
Experience in an outpatient clinical or therapeutic setting
Background supporting children, teens, or families
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems
Interest in professional growth and continuing education
