During the Summer Social Skills Mini-Camps, we will be focusing on specific topics each day.  While the topics are very important, our main focus will be for group participants to form connections with peers.

All groups are facilitated and led by one of our Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, Occupational Therapists, and/or a Speech Language Pathologist.

All children will learn age-appropriate:

• Communication & assertiveness skills

• Flexible thinking, level of reactive, and problem solving skills

• Emotions: Identifying them and self regulation

• Understanding my diagnosis: What is neurodiversity & how does my brain work?

• Opportunities to practice skills learned during engaging and fun activities with peers

Groups will be geared towards children who:

• May be neurodivergent (ADHD, anxiety, autistic, learning disabled, etc.)

• Are wanting to establish more positive experiences with peers

• Would benefit from opportunities to generalize social skills

• Will remain safely in the office/group room for the duration of the 1 or 1-1/2 hour camps

• Will be able to safely interact with peers and staff

• Are independently able to use the bathroom and/or participate in a snack

Costs will include all materials & there will be no refunds for missed days/partial weeks to allow for the smaller group sizes.

Enrollment deadline: May 24, 2024

Groups will close when we reach 6 participants, and refunds will only be provided in the event we do not meet the minimum number of participants.

All groups will be held at our office in Uniontown unless communicated otherwise.
