Not sure which therapy you need?
Parkinson's affects everyone differently. Some individuals may benefit from one therapy discipline, while others may benefit from a combination of Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy. Our team can help determine which services best support your current needs and goals.
LSVT BIG®
LSVT BIG® is an evidence based, individualized physical therapy program designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease. The program uses large, purposeful movements to help improve mobility and make everyday movement easier and more effective.
Treatment may focus on walking, balance, posture, strength, transfers, and other functional movements that support safety and independence at home and in the community.
Our LSVT BIG® trained Physical Therapist can help you or your loved one work toward maintaining mobility, confidence, and independence while living with Parkinson’s disease.
Want to learn more? Visit the official LSVT BIG® website for additional information about the program.
SPEAK OUT!®
SPEAK OUT!® is an evidence based speech therapy program designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease. The program focuses on speaking with INTENT, helping individuals use purposeful effort to support a stronger, clearer voice and more effective communication.
During individual therapy, patients work with a speech language pathologist using targeted speech, voice, and cognitive exercises from the SPEAK OUT!® program. Treatment is individualized to help carry these strategies into everyday conversations and activities.
SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Groups
After completing individual SPEAK OUT!® therapy, patients can continue practicing their skills through our weekly SPEAK OUT!® maintenance group led by a speech language pathologist.
Group sessions provide continued practice with SPEAK OUT!® exercises while offering support, encouragement, and accountability from others living with Parkinson’s. Daily home practice and regular reevaluations are also encouraged to help maintain communication skills over time.

"By the time I completed my SPEAK OUT!® training I was having brief periods during the day where my raspy voice was gone and my voice sounded like it used to sound to my ears. As I continue to do my daily therapy at home my raspy voice continues to subside." "I just wanted to let you know that SPEAK OUT with it's excellent training manual taught well by Amanda from the Innovative Therapy Center has me well on the way to restoring my voice."
